Week 2..

Surprise! I'm back. Although I haven't been able to get a picture of any yet, I've seen arctic foxes about 4 times already. I was thinking that maybe I haven't seen any hares this time yet was due to the number of foxes around. But I just thought- those hares are about the same size as the fox and I'll bet would put up a good fight. So- nothing to do with that. Maybe a big lemming population season? This was outside of the Centre the night of one of last weeks blizzards. It doesn't reflect the 90km wind speed- I thought of videoing, but standing outside...well it just didn't seem worth it. It is my intention to try a little harder to avoid a third time. Celebrating Christmas was nice- I enjoyed the phone calls and facetime. I do have to admit i would have much rather been at home for the family time. I miss you guys.. ...

I had seen a less clear version on a previous flight but since I didn't understand it I didn't dwell on it and forgot all about it. But this time...well I still didn't get it, but did look it up. The sun is behind the airplane casting the shadow of the plane onto the clouds. The sunlight then does "something" in the water droplets around the shadow- refraction or something...and makes a circle or circles of rainbow like colours. Best I could do wi...
